Smoking Areas
The Fear PDX is nonsmoking, except in the designated area. The smoking area is located next to the main entrance of the park. Please be considerate when smoking and deposit your trash properly.

Lost Friends/Family
Our Guest Service Hosts and Security Team are happy to help you track down wandering friends or family members. If you get separated, ask any uniformed team member and they will be happy to assist you. Please note: if anyone from your party doesn’t make it out alive that you can write them off on your taxes as food donation. We do appreciate your donation.

Lost & Found
It happens all the time: Guests start screaming and clutching at each other and things go flying. Phones, sweaters, hats, shoes, jewelry and more can find the most interesting places to hide. But fear not! Contact any team member who can arrange for a infrared sweep of the attraction where you think you lost your item. If you have no idea where you may have lost it, ask for a lost and found card. If your item turns up, Guest Services will contact you to arrange for its return. Fortunately, we have a great track record of finding and returning lost items.

First Aid
Contact any uniformed or costumed character in any emergency. We have trained medical personnel on site during all event hours who can assist in the event of an emergency.

Is The Fear PDX Handicap Accessible?
Yes. We do our best to be handicap accessible inside the attraction! There are a couple areas that may have to be by-passed; we provide by-passes for all guests that cannot go through certain rooms of the haunted house. Please make sure that you check in with an Event Staff employee and they will help you through the houses.

Pets
We apologize, but they may not be taken into the haunted house for obvious reasons: your animal may react unpredictably to a "threatening" situation, endangering other guests, our cast or you. Please inquire if you would like an escort.

Costume Guidelines
All event attendees-including adults-may dress in their favorite Halloween costume and must follow these and other guidelines as determined solely by The Fear PDX:

  • Costumes may not be obstructive, offensive or violent.
  • Guests may not wear masks - your face must be visible (pirate eye patch okay).
  • Costumes should not drag on the ground.
  • Costumes should not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
  • Costumes should not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
  • Guests of all ages may only wear costumes to the Scream event to which they have valid tickets.
  • Guests may not dress as or represent themselves to be official cast members of the event.

Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into the event unless their costume can be modified to meet the above standards.
